“Love is the ultimate outlaw. It just won’t adhere to any rules. The most any of us can do is to sign on as its accomplice. Instead of vowing to honor and obey, maybe we should swear to aid and abet. That would mean that security is out of the question. The words “make” and “stay” become inappropriate. My love for you has no strings attached. I love you for free.”

~Tom Robbins, Still Life with Woodpecker

I’ve been shooting weddings even longer than I’ve been shooting portraits. I shot my first wedding at 13. I loved it. I still love it. Shooting a wedding is like walking into a story book, and camera in hand, creating the pictures that will help tell that story for years to come. Long after the magical day has unfolded, what will you be left with? Your love, your memories, your photos. Through your stories and photographs, your grandchildren will step inside your memories. The camera is a time machine. How incredible is that?

“Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it’s cracked up to be. That’s why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don’t risk anything, you risk even more.”
~Erica Jong, Fear Of Flying

I want to hear your story.  Tell me everything. I hope you enjoy seeing my wedding and engagement work as much as I enjoyed making it. Take a look dear lovers, and congratulations.
