My best friend Marisa Viola was in town recently from NYC. More than a friend, she is family. We’ve loved each other through thick and thin for 30 years. An actress, a director, a writer and a producer, she is also one of the most brilliant performers I have ever seen, and one of the loveliest human beings I’ve ever met. With a mind as fine as crystal and a heart as pure as gold, she radiates goodness. At midnight on her last night in LA, we did a late night photo shoot. I pulled out my camera, we shot against a white wall with a single strobe, and this is the result. The light and luck was with us, as was 30 wonder filled years of collaborating together. Whip It!!! ♥
