I was recently asked by my friend Cindy Frey to shoot her portrait. I am incredibly excited and honored that one of my images was chosen by Donna Karan for her website “Women Who Inspire”. Cindy is a big supporter of the charity, “Lupus LA”. Lupus LA has been a front-runner in the fight to cure this disease by raising funds for research and supporting patients. This is an effort that is close to my heart, because my mother suffered from Lupus. I am very glad that people like Cindy exist and equally glad that Donna Karan chose to feature Cindy as a woman who inspires. I know she inspires me.
